Land-based fish farm

To get acknowledge for use in Norway all land-based fish farms, established before 01.01.2018, must have a technical escape report. This must include the following: 

  • A state analysis of the structure
  • A sketch of the sewerage- and the delivery system.
  • Risk assessment for operation and the delivery of fish.
  • Geotechnical review.
  • Maintenance plan.

Aquastructures has in coorporation with the Directorate of fisheries obtained guide towards issuing state analysis. We have the necessary competence to perform state analyses and technical escape report, and all of the remaining aspects mentioned above. Aquastructures is also accredited to issue product certification of pipes and tanks.
